G3 Controller |

|
G3 Controller costs $34.95 |
The G3 controller by Pelican Accessories is a great controller. It's been awhile since the day Pelican Accessories announced the G3 controller, and many people have waiting for its release and know its out on store shelves. This controller has all the buttons the regular Gamecube controller has and includes a turbo button, above the L button. Unlike other 3rd party controllers, the G3 controller is available in several different colors.
The controller has some nice features, but lets get to the performance. The G3 controller starts too fall a bit in the category. Lets get to each button. I'll start of with the joystick. This is one of the features I liked about the G3 controller. The joystick has some grip on the top so you can to just about anything and your thumb will stay on the stick, The regular Gamecube controller has something similar to this, but I liked the grip a little better, you thumb doesn't even slide off the stick.
The C-Stick has an up-side and a down-side. The up-side is its very comfortable. The down-side is there no grip, and if you rotate it a few times, your thumb will just slide off. The C-stick is painful if you rotate alot, the C-stick is comfortable, but not worth it. Everything else is normal, the A, B X, Y and the D-pad but something I notice is they click in more then the regular controller. On my regular controller, it has hard to tell even if I pressed the B button because I felt no click or anything, but the G3 controller has this nice feature to let gamers know if you pressed the button or not, I though it was something worth pointing out.
The A, B, X, and Y buttons are slightly smaller for people who have smaller hands, and the L and R buttons are slightly different. The buttons a little higher than the regular controller and a little more comfortable. Z button has also been changed. The Z button has been moved down a bit, but seems less comfortable then the regular controller, This controller seems to be best for people with small hands. The only new button which other 3rd party controllers don't have is an extra button which on this controller is the Turbo.
The Turbo is located in the same exact area where the Z button is, but on the other side, above the L Button. The Turbo is still a bit uncomfortable, but still a great feature. The G3 also has a nice long cable. Overall, if you're interested in a great controller, you should check into the G3. If you're someone who has big hands, you might want to look into the Nyko Star Pad. I have smaller hands so I enjoyed this product.
